Ten Sleep Canyon

Here are some photos of a motorcycle ride I took this evening.  Sturgis is going on, I suggest any of you who have motorcycles get your asses out here to the west and not worry about the collapse of the country:

Always have liked Wyoming. There's always a kind of relaxing moment when I cross the border, whether from Colorado, Idaho or the eastern side.

You should have taken a look at Fort Phil Kearny, and the monument to arrogance that is the Fetterman Massacre site a couple of miles away.

"Why would you want to move to South Dakota? There's nothing there."

"Exactly."

You know I'm not enamoured of the west's scenery - too dry looking & needing trees, to my taste - but there is some magnificent about it.

Part of it is the relative lack of people. What a relief.

Nice pics Cap. I recommend you to correct exposure and contrast, it's quite evident the UV interference (like a subtle white fog in each photo). Any photo editing program like picasa will do it.
