A Chicken in Every Pot

and cheap nursing homes for all.

You'll forgive me if I just plain decide to have no children, drink my Rumpleminze and enjoy playing my X-Box 360.

I guess we are seeing what happens to the sixties age bracket, when the baby boomers arrive. In fact every decade the baby boomers have gone through, they have popped the divorce ratings through the roof.

I read that entire column. To any other previous generation in history, that material would sound absurd. But to anyone growing up in the last generation, they instantly understand the language of the baby boomer. These folks are the most narcissistic bunch of whiners in the history of mankind. I guess now this will be followed by a host of TV shows and movies, based on sixty year old divorced people. Hollywood seems to love doing stories about divorced baby boomers.
Oh God, I just realized in the 2020 decade, they will have TV shows and movies about baby boomers in nursing homes. I can hardly wait.

Gee, the throwaway man. Nothing new under the sun, just a different mode and excuse.

Another perverse part of this that remains unmentioned is how many men work their asses off to provide for their families then croak shortly after retirement or never get to retirement age due to their hard work causing premature death.

We typically have a bunch of elderly people who have no other place to go over for thanksgiving. They're always all women - their husbands are in their graves.
