Why I Love The Economist

Because they call Lou Dobbs what he is;

a blow hard.

I'd even go so far as to say he's one of these people that puts his own advancement ahead of anything else, thinking nothing of advocating policies that would hurt and harm people and making people poorer across the world just so he can boost his ratings.

Putz.

Me too! Lou is a door knob. Being a trader, futures, stocks whatever is moving I will from time to time search around to find out why something moved the way it did. ( I'm a technical analyst so where and when it's going is more important than why.) Anyways I came to the conclusion long ago CNBC for the most part is just one big long commercial, Dobbs is an idiot. You get more information from the first 6 minutes of Nightly Business Report than you do from Lou Dobbs in a month.

I really miss Lou Rukeyser. He really didn't have any information that I could use but lived for his show.

For me though the ultimate greatest thing in the world was to listen to Uncle Alan Greenspan testify to the Senate Banking commitee a hot cup of joe in the morning and 3 hours of non-stop Greenspan was heaven. Markets grind to a halt whenever he spoke. Must be trying to rein in their irrational exuberance.
